Reminiscent of the iconic vehicle that proved British motorcars would set the bar for performance on the world stage. The Jaguar XK120 was launched in open two-seater or (US) roadster form at the 1948 London Motor Show as a prototype and show car for the new XK Engine. It caused such an uproar at the show that Jaguar founder and Chairman William Lyons decided to put it into production immediately. On 30 May 1949, on the empty Ostend-Jabbeke motorway in Belgium, a prototype XK120 achieved an average of runs in opposing directions of 132.6 mph which made it one of the fastest cars in production that year. We have taken great care to reproduce, in the best way possible, our handcrafted 2/3 scale version of the historic automobile. We have made it possible for the youngest or just young at heart to own a smaller version of this very special vehicle. It is a Mini Car with a life size presents, guaranteed to get more excitement and interest than the real thing. Be prepared to get stopped every time you take it out.
